The following images can be saved as 800x600 wallpapers. Your monitor needs to be set at a minimum of 16-bit high color in order to get the best results. NOTE: If you have an older system that can't use JPEGs for desktop wallpaper, use your Windows Paint program to save the .JPG file as a .BMP file.

Solutions for Tidy Desktops
Ever since I saw a "do it yourself" project in a computer magazine several years ago, I've been creating my own wallpapers that divide the desktop space into easy to find, usable areas for laying out my icons. For anyone who suffers from a similar case of "organization", here are five TXF-themed wallpapers with that idea in mind. (These are all JPEGs. Again, if you need a bitmap, use MS Paint to convert it. You'll find that Paint will also come in handy if you don't like the labels attached to each "frame"; you can get rid of them or add your own relatively easily.)

I've learned that (if you're the type of person to have them) when one obsession eases off, another soon takes its place. While I think TXF and Mulder/DD represents my personal "pinnacle" in terms of obsessions, it has recently been supplanted by a resurgent interest in LotR and its incredibly manly hero.
